Step 1: Ethical Sourcing & Donation

Our journey begins in temples in India, where donors voluntarily offer their hair as part of a religious tradition called Tonsuring.

• The hair is cut in a ponytail (root-end first) to ensure the cuticles all run in the same direction, which is essential for preventing tangling and matting.
• Ethical Commitment: A portion of the proceeds from the hair sold is donated back to the local Indian community for development projects, ensuring a direct benefit to the donors and their families.

Step 2: Raw Collection & Initial Cleaning

After collection, the hair is categorized as Raw Hair, meaning it has not been chemically treated, dyed, or altered.

• The hair is thoroughly examined for quality, texture, and color consistency.
• It then undergoes a slow, gentle cleansing process using organic, all-natural shampoos and conditioners to remove impurities while preserving the hair’s natural moisture and texture.

Step 3: Hand-Wefting & Quality Control

This is the most critical stage where the hair is transformed into long-lasting bundles.

• Double-Wefting: Hair is meticulously stitched onto a strong track (weft) two or more times. This high-density stitching prevents shedding and increases the longevity of the bundle.
• Cutting & Sealing: The wefts are precisely cut to length, and the edges are reinforced with a special sealant to ensure maximum security.

Step 4: Texture Setting (For Wavy & Curly Hair)

Only high-heat steam is used to achieve our beautiful, uniform textures (Body Wave, Kinky Curly, etc.).

• The bundles are tightly wrapped around specialized rods, placed in a high-temperature steamer, and held for a set period.
• No Chemicals: This process uses zero chemicals or harsh perms, ensuring the hair remains 100% virgin and the cuticle remains intact.

Step 5: Final Inspection & Packaging

The finished bundles are prepared for shipment with a focus on hygiene and luxury presentation.

• Each bundle is weighed and measured to guarantee consistency.
• The hair is brushed one final time to confirm no shedding or matting.
• It is then packaged in our exclusive Vividera Hair branded packaging, ensuring it arrives to you clean, smelling fresh (no smell), and ready for installation.
